About Us

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We’re excited to see everyone again and welcome our new 6th grade Foxes! We’ve been preparing to make this year memorable with exceptional classroom experiences and extracurricular activities for academic, athletic, emotional, and social growth.

We had a few retirements last year so you will meet some new faces this year!  We are thrilled with our new hires and feel they bring the same commitment to excellence our retired colleagues did, along with new ideas and experiences to share with our community.   Our focus on academics, athletics, arts, activities and character continue.  Students will enjoy a variety of lunchtime Hangouts and the Zen Zone to share interests and decompress. Our PTA, led by President Erin Clougherty, has planned exciting events like Noontime Fun, dances, and the Hauntington Breakfast. We’ll continue to build on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Restorative Practices. We also look forward to highlighting how we support the SMUSD Board of Education’s goals of Providing an Environment of Safety and Wellness, Prioritizing Fiscal Health and Sustainability, Demonstrating a Conscious Culture of Service, Value and Appreciation and Preparing Students to be High-Quality Goals Citizens. Our highly qualified teachers are dedicated to creating inspiring lessons and learning experiences for your students.

Huntington is fortunate to have the most supportive community and devoted families working together to create exceptional learning environments. We’re grateful for the San Marino Schools Foundation, the Huntington PTA, and the SMUSD District Office for their volunteerism and generosity, which support our students’ academic, athletic, artistic, and social achievements.

Important dates on the 2023-24 school calendar can be found on our school website, hehms.us.
On behalf of all teachers and staff at Huntington Middle School, I wish you a wonderful start to the 2024-2025 school year!

Go Foxes!
